Transcendence: The Beast Supercomputer Is Here
By Timothy Spearman
The latest Johnny Depp film “Transcendence” offers us a glimpse of what rule under the Beast of Revelations will be like. Could the Beast be a supercomputer? It’s looking more and more like this is the case. Think I’m kidding? Take Depp’s character, Will Caster, who designs the world’s first A.I. supercomputer called PINN (Physically Independent Neural Network). And what happens right after the film’s release, right on cue? A computer is made the Director of a company. That’s right. A Japanese venture capital firm called Deep Knowledge just appointed an A.I. computer to its board of directors.
VITAL is the first ever software program to be appointed as a board member. The robot was developed by Aging Analytics UK, who licensed it out to Deep Knowledge to help make business decisions on therapies for age-related diseases. Who knows – in the future, it might even have a say in who should be euthanized and who should be kept on life support.
Would you take orders from a ROBOT? Well, it seems the subordinates at Deep Knowledge better get used to it. The robot VITAL was chosen for its ability to pick up on market trends ‘not immediately obvious to humans’. VITAL is actually an acronym for “Validating Investment Tool for Advancing Life Sciences”. It is programmed to analyse trends in databases of life science companies in seek out successful investments.
Now let’s turn to the film. Is “Transcendence” another example of predictive programming? Near the start of the film, the main character Will Caster (Johnny Depp) visits his lab. The number shown on the door is 18. That’s some pretty wicked numerology – 6 + 6 + 6 = 18 – don’t you think? THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST in disguise perhaps? Is Will Caster uploaded the supercomputer Beast in disguise?
The hero or anti-hero of “Transcendence” is Will Caster (Johnny Depp). It is an interesting name. Just what is Will Caster a caster of? Is he a caster of a World Wide Web? Well that’s interesting because ‘W’ translates as 6 in numerology – hence 666. The fact that the Antichrist prototype, Will Caster, dies only to be reborn as an abomination is perfectly in keeping with the scriptural Antichrist.
While Dr. Caster’s controversial experiments have made him famous, they have also made him the prime target of anti-A.I. extremists who will do anything to stop him. A terrorist cell known as RIFT (Revolutionary Independence From Technology) start targeting A.I. labs around the country. One of their targets is Caster. The scientist is wounded in a multi-pronged attack, taking a radiation-laced bullet that ensures death. If the bullet doesn’t kill him, the radiation is sure to.
Following the attempt on his life, Will Caster says, “They’re afraid of technology, but they don’t flinch at taking a human life. Clearly, they’re not big on logic.” But the truth is neither is he. He fails to see the outcome of his drive to Transcend. He fails to see the implications of his actions – to defend his dream people must die.
This is the problem with the Elite Agenda. The Elite always think they know what is best for the population. They think they have a right to run a hidden world oligarchy – the UN, the Bilderbergers, the Trilateral Commission, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the Club of Rome, the Committee of 300 – but their social engineering programs always end up displacing and killing people. No doubt a supercomputer like the fictional PINN or the real-life VITAL will do just that someday.
Now let’s see what happens to the fictional computer PINN. As Caster’s body deteriorates, his wife Evelyn (Rebecca Hall) and his partner Max Waters (Paul Bettany) work frantically to upload his mind to a computer, so Will can continue his research from beyond the grave. They manage to salvage and upload Will’s consciousness just in time. “We lost a great man, a great soul,” is the lament following his death, “but the spirit of this man will continue to inspire us.”
Evelyn and Max are plagued by doubts. They wonder if Will’s supercomputer really contains his consciousness or if Will himself has been Transcended. “It may be intelligent, it may be sentient, but it’s not Will,” Max insists. “Shut it down!”
Once uploaded with Will’s consciousness, PINN is no pinhead. PINN the computer seems to have a mind and a Will of its own. There seems no way to stop it. The Beast supercomputer urges Evelyn with Will’s seductive voice, “You need to get me online. I need more power.” Is this the story of the Fall of Man retold?
Evelyn is appropriately named. Eve-lyn represents Eve’s line, the line of Eve, the children of the first fallen human. She is Eve being tempted once more as she was in the Garden of Eden. She is being seduced, once again by the Great Deceiver just like Eve. “Think about our garden, our sanctuary. I’ll never let you go,” says Satanic Will. Like Satan, the Fallen Angel, he wants control over Eve-lyn, the line of Eve. He never wants to let go. He wants to usurp control of the Garden of Eden. He wants dominion over the Earth.
By means of nanotechnology Caster’s Beast-like supercomputer makes even the dust on the ground ascend into the air. Government scientists even detect nanotechnology particulate in the raindrops falling from the sky. What is the real intention behind A.I. and nanotechnology? Is its purpose not to take control of Creation?
When Will Caster makes a speech before an enlightened body, a man gets up to ask a question. It is a provocative question. The man is a dissenter. He may even be an agent provocateur sent to disrupt and heckle. “So you want to create a god, your own god?” asks the man. To which Will Caster has a ready reply in the form of a patronizing question, “That’s a good question. Isn’t that what man has always done?”
Is it not Lucifer’s long-cherished dream to defy God by placing himself on an Earthly throne as the Antichrist? Let us look at Lucifer’s stairway to heaven. I’ll bet you’re thinking of a Led Zepplin song by that name. One doesn’t need to play a Led Zepplin song backwards to see who they worship. Sure “Stairway to Heaven” is a good song. Naturally, it’s good. I mean, if you’re going to be bad, you may as well be good, right? How else are you going to seduce the masses?
“Artificial intelligence is an abomination and a threat to humanity,” argue the naysayers. However, Will’s Beast-like supercomputer tricks people into believing it can heal the sick and lame. People come from all over to be healed. Not only does the supercomputer heal the infirm, but it even raises people from the dead. There is no shortage of miracles that Will’s supercomputer seems capable of performing. Just as Christ healed the blind, the sick and the lame, so the Beast supercomputer does the same as the Bible predicts (Rev. 13:13-15; II Thess. 2:10-11).
When one of the workers is fatally injured, the supercomputer sets to work to heal his injuries. It even restores sight to a man who has been blind since birth. A close up of the eye resembles the All-Seeing Eye of the Illuminati. The symbolism is intended. It is not lost on an Illuminated public. We have all been impacted by the Beast. The World Wide Web has infected us all. There is no one who has not been tainted. We have already been seduced by the technology of the BEAST.
Both the Bible and the Muslim Hadith are replete with references to the Antichrist or the Muslim version known as the Dajjal, both traditions maintaining that the BEAST is one-eyed. As many already know, Muslims believe the Antichrist (Dajjal) will be blind in the right eye. In fact, there is a verse in the Bible, Zechariah 11:17, that is interpreted by many Christians to be a reference to the Antichrist.
“Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! A sword will be on his arm and on his right eye! His arm will be totally withered, and his right eye will be blind.” (Zechariah 11:17)
In the Muslim faith, it is recorded that the Prophet said, “This is Medina; the Dajjal is in the east.” This island is due east of Medina. The island has a figure carved in the middle of it visible from an aerial view. It is said to be a representation of Orion. To the Egyptians Orion represents Horus. Horus is the One-eyed Egyptian god. As above so below. The Antichrist may become known on Earth at this time and the Betelgeuse supernova event will coincide with him assuming his throne. In fact the island of Dajjal/Antichrist has been identified:
According to hadith (Muslim books of the law), Muhammad is said to have prophesied that the Masih ad-Dajjal would be the last of a series of thirty Dajjal or “deceivers” (false prophets). Muhammad is reported to have said: “… Allah is not one eyed while Messiah, Ad-Dajjal is blind in the right eye and his eye looks like a bulging out grape.”
As for the prototype Antichrist, Will Caster, he says, “Once they see what the technology can do, I think they will embrace it and I think it will change their lives.” But while Will persuades, others, like his former partner Max, are not so certain. “It will evolve, to influence, perhaps the entire world,” Max warns.
Brightwood is the place selected for the development of the Beast-like supercomputer. The name ‘Brightwood’ is steeped in Illuminati symbolism. ‘Bright’ suggests clarity and illumination, while ‘wood’ suggests a grove of trees. Groves of trees are the traditional place for witchcraft and the holding of black mass. “Coventry” meaning “tree of the coven” is a perfect example. So is “Bohemian Grove” in California. And let’s not forget “Hill Billy”, where the Bush family and their fellow coven members meet to perform Satanic rites at Bohemian Grove.
The sign leading into Brightwood says, “Every thing must go”. It is an ominous sign. The fact the word “Everything” is broken is significant. It emphasizes the fact that every ‘thing’ in God’s Creation must go to be replaced by a counterfeit, a remake, a replica, an abomination. Not even the earth on the ground or the water in the pond can be allowed to exist in its natural state. Everything must be remade, redone and remodelled in the image of the Beast. Nothing can be allowed to stand on its own. The new interior decorator of Creation insists on remodelling everything in his image.
“Remake the planet and build a better future for all of us.” This statement sums up the intention of the creators of the film. It is designed to usher us into the New Age, the Golden Dawn of the Age of the Antichrist. The Elite Agenda is to destroy the world. “Every thing must go.” They intend to remake the world in the image of the Beast. The new world will rise like a phoenix from the ashes of the old world. It will be a counterfeit world. It will be a world designed to replace Creation. They wish to transmute every living thing into an abomination. They want us all to be X-Men or more appropriately Ex-men. This is what Trans-humanism/Transcendence is all about. They want to replace the Old World of God with the New World Order of Lucifer.
As for the better future, forget it. Such utopias have only ever ended up as dystopias. They never quite seem to pan out. The same is the case with efforts to achieve Transcendence. The Trans-humanist agenda will only lead to our ruin. The Bible is unequivocal about the consequences. The King James Bible states, “And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.” (Revelations 16:2) While the New International Version states, “The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.” (Revelations 16:2)
No good can come of the Transhumanist agenda promoted by films like “Transcendence”. While sexy entertainment icons like Johnny Depp make it seem glamorous, transhumanism represents another fall of man, a second fall from Eden. We will be seduced with promises of utopia only to end up in a dystopian nightmare.
Will, after all, did not upload himself on to a computer. Some semblance of his consciousness was preserved by his desperately distraught wife. Newton is right – “Nothing is either created or destroyed.” But when a physical object is destroyed and reassembled in another form, it might retain some semblance of itself, but it is never the same.
How many authors have decried what editors, directors and filmmakers have done with their work? How must the Author of Creation feel with what we have done to Creation? How must the Creator react to “the Abomination that maketh desolate”? “Transcendence” leaves us feeling conflicted. It leaves us feeling we’re damned if we do and damned if we don’t. If “Transcendence” offers a glimpse of the End Times Tribulation that awaits us, we had better get ready because it’s close.
