Miracle on Paradise One St
The night of September 2, 2015, The Mother vowed that if she got her wish the impediments to me achieving money and job success would be removed. I have felt quite desperate of late with winter approaching and the planned visit of my daughter this Christmas. Last night I prayed for a miracle to the Father. What happened next proved to me that miracles still happen. I have experienced them before and have written about them in my autobiography “Sailing the Seven C’s”, but the three miracles that occurred today are quite remarkable.
The first miracle was when my housemate of six years came home with a money gift of $100, the first such gift I have received from him in 6 years. Now that was a miracle. He got paid for something and decided to give me half as he knew I was tight for funds.
The second miracle occurred today at school. An elderly man came on the elevator, walking with two canes to assist him. He thanked me for holding the elevator for him. I then let him get off first. I then proceeded to hold the doors for him so he wouldn’t struggle opening the door. In gratitude he handed me a small pocket-size version of the New Testament. He informed me with a beaming smile that God loved me. He said that he was in the habit of handing copies of the New Testament out to people he found deserving, like those who hold doors open for disabled people.
The third miracle followed quickly on the heels of the gift of the Bible. I saw my old principal and rushed over to say hello. He was all smiles and asked if I had managed to get my teaching certificate. I declared that I had not and so he encouraged me to do so. I had been reluctant to do so because of the expense and time constraints involved, but he assured me that it would not be so onerous as I imagined due to my experience. He vowed that he would re-hire me in September if I managed to get the ball rolling on the certification.
Thanks to the Mother and Father God, Paradise is starting to roll. I just have to make sure I don’t fall off the wagon into my bad habits and chase away the Grace of the Holy Spirit. If I continue to follow the path of correction outlined by the infinitely patient Mother, I will continue to enjoy my place in the sun in Paradise.
